In the hot summer months I find a fresh pressed green juice really keeps me going. I could drink this juice everyday. You could even naughty it up and add your favorite liquor for a healthier cocktail.
Ingredients
Yields: 2 12oz juices
- 1 cucumber
- 5 stalks celery
- 2 limes
- 1 green apple
- 1 bunch of kale or spinach (you can use your reserved kale stems from your kale chips!)
- 1 inch of ginger
- 2 carrots
Directions
- Prep veggies
- Juice
- Strain juice if you prefer less pulp
- Squeeze juice of one lime in each glass
- Pour strained mixture over ice and lime juice
With your leftover juice pulp, you can compost it for your garden or re-use it in dehydrated pulp crackers. Recipe for crackers coming soon 🙂
